Self-troubleshooting steps:
- How do I know what way to install my DV+?
o The DV+ is designed to be installed with boost pressure entering the bottom and dumping through the side. You can check for the correct orientation by tracing the 2 large diverter valve hoses with the bottom inlet connecting to the intercooler piping and side outlet connecting to the turbo intake.
- How can I test if the DV+ is working as intended?
o With the DV+ uninstalled from your vehicle, we recommend pushing against the piston to see if it is able to travel in the body of the valve freely without getting obstructed. If the piston in the bore is getting stuck, send us a video of you performing this test at [email protected].
- I’ve taken apart my DV+, how do I make sure I have everything that I need?
o If you were concerned about your DV+ in any way, please send us some photos of all the components and accessories that were provided with your DV+. This would give us the opportunity to have a look at what you have, examine its condition and

- I’ve installed the DV+ onto my vehicle, why isn’t it making any noise!
o Our DV+ range are full recirculation only, meaning that it is not able to vent to atmosphere. This also means that you will, unfortunately, not be able to hear a “whooshing” sound after coming off throttle too. If you were interested in one of our valves that were capable of venting to atmosphere, we currently have our VTA and DVX ranges available for select vehicles. - I lost one of the spring preload screws, can I just use any screw?
o No! You will need to use one of our specially designed spring preload screws. We have four options being 6mm (preinstalled), 8mm, 10mm and 12mm. Let us know which of the four you are missing at [email protected] and we’ll be sure to assist you as best as possible.
- I’ve been told that I need to relubricate my piston in my DV+, what do I use?
o We recommend using ordinary engine oil. In most cases, there is enough oil vapour passing through with the vented, which is sufficient enough to keep the valve lubricated. Using any other form of lubrication may be too viscous and may significantly affect the operation of the valve.
