·         Suitable for vehicles with a manifold vacuum ranging from 5-22 inHg (17-74.5 kPa, 2.5-11psi vacuum)

·         Is not a direct fit valve, is suited for custom “racecar” applications, please contact us prior to purchasing to see if we do have a valve that would be compatible with your vehicle.

Self-troubleshooting steps:

How do I know what specific spring I need?

o   The SV52 is designed to account for an array of different idle vacuum ranges produced by various engines. Please see the graph below to see what spring(s) are required for your vehicle:

FAQ:

What do you mean by: “this is not a direct fit valve”?

o   The SV52 in most cases, will not fit the majority of vehicles that do not have custom intercooler piping. The SV52 is designed to include an aluminium weld on base, which is to be welded to the engines charge piping between the throttle body and the intercooler. If your vehicle is fitted with an electronically controlled diverter valve or a pneumatically actuated bypass valve, please contact us first as in most cases we do have a blow off valve that can either reuse your OE diverter valve or bypass valve flange.

I want to experience some fluttering; can I achieve this with the SV52?

o   No, the SV52 is designed to make a “whooshing” noise after coming off throttle and is not capable of producing a “fluttering” or “chopping” sound. This is due to the SV52 being able to rapidly flow a vast amount of air in a short amount of time. Fluttering, also commonly known as compressor surge, occurs when air is UNABLE to be vented after being blocked off by the throttle plate and travels back towards the turbo to create a “fluttering” or “chopping” sound. The SV52 actively aims to avoid this.

I’m interested in your lifetime warranty policy, what does this include?

o   We offer lifetime warranty on all of our products, so provided that there is a genuine manufacturing or assembly fault with your product – please send us some photos of what’s going on so that we’d be able to assist with either replacement parts or components. It’s also worth noting that we our lifetime warranty does not extend to those who have purchased our parts second hand.
